Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup tasks
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, jackhammers)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and transport supplies to job sites
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Complete daily reports and communicate progress to site supervisors
- Adapt to changing project requirements and weather conditions
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Must be 18+ years old and eligible to work in the US
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following instructions
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Raleigh area
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screening
