Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup duties
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (training provided)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following safety protocols
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and carrying
- Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times
- Participate in team-based construction activities with clear communication
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train on the job!
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid government-issued photo ID (required for employment)
- Reliable transportation to job sites in Long Beach area
- Willingness to work night shifts (typically 6 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality and attendance
- Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening (standard for industry)
