Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and equipment operation at construction sites
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks following safety protocols
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators)
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites to ensure OSHA compliance
- Monitor material inventory and coordinate deliveries with suppliers
- Complete daily progress reports and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or trade school certification
- OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM schedule)
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong teamwork communication and problem-solving abilities
