Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation tasks
- Operate hand/power tools and equipment safely per OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradesmen in concrete work, framing, and demolition
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper waste management
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions precisely
- Complete daily safety inspections and incident reporting
- Work collaboratively in diverse teams across multiple project sites
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience required
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (will train if needed)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for night shift (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic math skills for material measurement
- Spanish language skills a plus for diverse crews
