Responsibilities
- Execute earthwork, concrete pouring, and structural framing operations
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with certification
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal
- Collaborate with skilled trades (electricians, welders, carpenters)
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Class B CDL license preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience with underground utilities installation preferred
