Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and earthwork operations under site supervision
- Operate heavy machinery including skid steers and compactors with certification
- Construct scaffolding, formwork, and temporary structures for night operations
- Perform site preparation including grading, trenching, and utility installation
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols for night construction environments
- Maintain equipment daily and report maintenance needs to foreman
- Assist in material handling, inventory management, and waste disposal
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year commercial construction experience required
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Class B CDL license preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Marion County
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Experience with concrete pouring and finishing techniques
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
