Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing tools and materials.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the site safely.
- Assist Trades: Support skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywalling, or concrete pouring as needed.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project needs and safety concerns.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work the night shift (typically 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects and standing on concrete.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Safety Gear: Must have or be willing to purchase standard construction safety gear (steel-toed boots, safety glasses).
- Reliability: Proven history of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Communication: Basic English language skills for reading instructions and communicating with the team.
