Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, demolition, and site preparation tasks during night shifts
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers safely
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and layout work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Perform concrete finishing, framing, and basic installation tasks
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or related field experience
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Diego County
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety excellence
- Availability to work 4-10 hour night shifts (6 PM - 4 AM)
