Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material handling, equipment operation, and task completion
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and operating hand/power tools
- Participate in project-specific training and adhere to construction blueprints
- Complete daily progress reports and communicate effectively with supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor or related experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as part of a team
- Flexible availability for overnight shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
