Responsibilities
- Execute excavation, grading, and concrete pouring operations under night shift supervision
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and compactors with precision
- Install and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Maintain clean, organized job sites with proper material storage protocols
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and emergency procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex construction sequences
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Class B CDL license with airbrake endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and surveying equipment
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong communication skills for team coordination
