Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, excavation, and material handling at active construction sites
- Operate machinery like jackhammers, saws, and concrete mixers under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction plans accurately
- Maintain site safety protocols and report hazards to supervisors
- Assist skilled tradesmen with framing, demolition, and finishing tasks
- Prepare work areas and clean debris after shift completion
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to work 8 PM - 6 AM shifts with weekends as needed
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
