Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate light machinery (concrete mixers, jackhammers) under supervisor guidance
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site cleanliness
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material staging and tool management
- Perform night-shift-specific duties: trench shoring, concrete pouring, and structural framing
- Document daily progress and material usage via digital reporting tools
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to project sites within metro Atlanta
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Basic knowledge of construction tools (saws, drills, levels)
- Strong teamwork ethic and ability to follow verbal instructions
