Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload materials and equipment using manual labor and basic machinery
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow OSHA protocols
- Complete daily timecards and safety documentation
- Collaborate with team to meet nightly project milestones
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction or heavy labor experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme temperatures
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment drug screen
- Basic math skills for material counting and inventory
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
