Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings during night shift hours
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure code compliance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Perform emergency repairs on critical power systems during overnight operations
- Coordinate with facility managers to schedule maintenance without disrupting daytime operations
- Document all work activities and maintain compliance with OSHA and NFPA standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility conditions
- Strong troubleshooting skills with diagnostic equipment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and respond to emergency calls
