Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and blueprints
- Adhere strictly to NFPA 70E safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures
- Document all work using digital reporting systems and maintenance logs
- Collaborate with day shift teams for seamless project handovers
- Respond to emergency service calls during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical experience
- Valid New Mexico Journeyman Electrician license required
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with EMT conduit, THHN wiring, and power distribution systems
- Ability to read complex electrical schematics and blueprints
- Strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting 480V/277V systems
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Valid driver's license with clean record
