Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical components
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety regulations
- Collaborate with maintenance teams during critical system upgrades
- Document all work performed using digital maintenance systems
- Respond to emergency electrical calls during night shifts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Michigan Electrician Journeyman license
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills for complex electrical systems
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50 lbs, and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
