Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Perform emergency troubleshooting and repairs during night shift operations
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and California electrical codes
- Coordinate with facility managers and security teams for after-hours access
- Document all work orders and maintain detailed service records
- Mentor junior technicians on advanced electrical techniques
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman license
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Proven expertise in industrial power systems and emergency repairs
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to work independently in low-visibility conditions
- Strong diagnostic skills with multi-meter and testing equipment
- Flexibility for on-call rotations during critical outages
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
