Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities during night shifts
- Perform emergency troubleshooting and repairs on high-voltage systems and critical infrastructure
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including NFPA 70E standards and lockout/tagout procedures
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation for complex electrical projects
- Document all maintenance activities and system upgrades using digital reporting tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless 24/7 operations
- Conduct preventative maintenance on transformers, switchgear, and distribution panels
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Louisiana Electrician Journeyman or Master license
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power quality analyzers
- Ability to work independently in low-light environments with minimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts during peak demand periods
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
