Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and industrial facilities
- Read blueprints and technical schematics to execute complex electrical installations
- Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting with advanced testing equipment
- Ensure compliance with NEC, California Title 24, and OSHA safety regulations
- Lead emergency response teams for critical power outages and system failures
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
- Document all work using digital reporting systems for quality assurance
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician License (C-10 classification)
- Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with industrial control systems and VFDs
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Advanced diagnostic skills using Fluke and Megger testing equipment
- Strong knowledge of energy-efficient lighting systems
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
