Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial/industrial facilities
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for precise system modifications
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC, OSHA, and California Title 24 standards
- Perform emergency repairs and preventive maintenance on high-voltage systems
- Lead night shift crews and coordinate with day-shift supervisors
- Document maintenance logs and safety compliance reports
- Train apprentices on advanced electrical techniques
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- Minimum 5 years commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Expertise in PLC systems, motor controls, and power distribution
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environments
- Strong diagnostic skills using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imaging
- Flexibility for on-call emergency rotations
