Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Lead night shift crews on high-priority projects with minimal supervision
- Document work orders and maintain accurate project records
- Collaborate with engineers and contractors to optimize system designs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license (or reciprocal state license)
- Proficiency in conduit bending, circuit troubleshooting, and load calculations
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and Austin municipal regulations
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Reliable transportation and tools
- Emergency response experience preferred
