Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings during night shifts
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, NEC, and OSHA safety standards
- Coordinate with day shift teams for seamless project continuity
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical panels, motors, and control systems
- Document work orders and maintain accurate technical records
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience
- Valid Louisiana Journeyman Electrician license required
- Proven night shift or after-hours work experience
- Expertise in 3-phase systems, VFDs, and industrial controls
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong troubleshooting skills for complex electrical systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
