Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Perform emergency repairs and system diagnostics during night shift hours
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict adherence to NEC codes and OSHA safety standards
- Coordinate with facility managers and day shift teams for seamless operations
- Conduct preventive maintenance on transformers, switchgear, and control systems
- Document all work using digital reporting platforms
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman license
- Expertise in 3-phase systems, VFDs, and PLC troubleshooting
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environments
- Physical stamina for climbing, lifting, and confined space work
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
