Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Respond to emergency calls and troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions during night hours
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for accurate installations
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and Oregon state regulations
- Train and mentor junior electricians on safe practices and technical procedures
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment
- Document work orders, materials used, and maintenance reports accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Oregon Electrician Journeyman license required
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting complex electrical systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic proficiency with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters)
