Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read blueprints and technical schematics to execute complex wiring projects
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using advanced testing equipment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local safety regulations
- Coordinate with project managers and team members for seamless operations
- Document work activities and maintain detailed service reports
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical panels, transformers, and control systems
- Respond to emergency service calls during night shift hours
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Virginia Journeyman Electrician license required
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently in low-light conditions
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
