Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of electrical equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety regulations
- Coordinate with project managers and team members for efficient workflow
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate records
- Respond to emergency electrical calls during assigned shifts
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Virginia electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Experience with PLC systems and industrial controls preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean record
