Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities during night shifts
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and emergency repairs on high-voltage systems
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and California Title 24 regulations
- Manage material inventory and equipment maintenance during shift operations
- Train apprentices and junior electricians on safety protocols and best practices
- Document work orders and maintain detailed project records
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman license (required)
- Minimum 3 years commercial electrical experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred)
- Proficiency with conduit bending, motor controls, and power distribution
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environments
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Flexibility for weekend and overtime assignments as needed
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
