Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in residential/commercial settings
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Collaborate with day shift teams for seamless project continuity and documentation
- Conduct safety inspections and implement hazard prevention protocols
- Manage inventory and order materials for upcoming night shift operations
- Provide after-hours emergency response support as required
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Nebraska Electrician Journeyman License or equivalent
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays for emergency coverage
