Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on commercial and industrial systems.
- Install, inspect, and maintain lighting systems, switchgear, transformers, and panel boards.
- Ensure all work is conducted in strict accordance with OSHA safety standards and local electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute complex tasks.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and identify potential hazards on the job site.
- Document all work orders, maintain accurate logs, and report progress to the shift supervisor.
- Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs during off-hours as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician License in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial electrical experience.
- Ability to work independently and reliably during night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
- Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must provide a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
