Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/industrial facilities during overnight shifts
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure code-compliant installations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Perform preventative maintenance on transformers, switchgear, and power distribution systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and NEC regulations during all operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale construction projects
- Complete detailed documentation and work orders for all completed tasks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Massachusetts Electrician Journeyman License required
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Expertise in reading complex electrical schematics and blueprints
- Proficiency with power distribution systems and troubleshooting high-voltage equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during overnight shifts
- Strong problem-solving skills for emergency repairs in low-visibility conditions
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
