Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on industrial electrical systems and machinery.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute tasks accurately.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national safety codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize downtime in production environments.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical panels, transformers, and switchgear.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement energy-efficient solutions.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate service logs.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical maintenance.
- Proven ability to work effectively during night shifts and weekends.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and electrical regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
