Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial/commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical schematics with precision
- Perform emergency repairs during overnight operations
- Ensure compliance with NEC and OSHA safety standards
- Lead junior technicians on complex projects
- Document work orders and maintain equipment logs
- Collaborate with facility management for preventive maintenance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (MI/IL)
- OSHA 10-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex systems
- Ability to work independently overnight
- Experience with PLC systems and VFDs
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Reliable transportation for multiple locations
