Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential properties during night shifts
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to implement complex electrical layouts
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical failures using advanced testing equipment
- Ensure compliance with California Electrical Code (CEC) and OSHA safety standards
- Coordinate with project managers and day-shift teams for seamless handovers
- Perform preventative maintenance on industrial and commercial electrical systems
- Document all work activities and maintain accurate service records
- Respond to emergency electrical calls during assigned shift hours
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman or Master License
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Strong knowledge of NEC/CEC codes and safety protocols
- Experience with PLC systems, industrial controls, and VFDs preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible schedules
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
