Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Assist senior electricians in troubleshooting electrical faults and system failures
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment
- Document work activities and maintain accurate service records
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas Electrician Trainee License or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Basic understanding of electrical theory and circuitry
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Willingness to pursue ongoing certifications and training
