Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including residential and commercial wiring.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical fixtures, panels, and circuits to ensure safety and functionality.
- Read and interpret basic technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics under supervision.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Respond to emergency service calls during the night shift with urgency and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper tool management and site cleanup.
- Document work completed accurately on daily logs and reports.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment (50+ lbs) and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude towards training.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- No prior experience is necessary; we value potential over pedigree.
