Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand project requirements
- Perform safety checks and adhere to OSHA and NFPA standards
- Install conduits, wiring, switches, and electrical components
- Use hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently
- Document work progress and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in ongoing training programs to develop technical skills
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to work flexible night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Indianapolis metro area
