Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects and emergency repairs
- Document work activities and maintain accurate service records
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible night shift schedule (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Physical stamina to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, and work in confined spaces
- Basic math skills for calculating electrical loads and measurements
- Willingness to complete company-sponsored certification program
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
