Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local electrical codes
- Coordinate with project managers and team leads for seamless shift transitions
- Perform preventative maintenance on high-voltage equipment and control systems
- Document work orders and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience with night shift preference
- Valid North Carolina Electrical Journeyman License required
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and blueprints
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Experience with PLC systems, VFDs, and industrial automation
- Strong problem-solving abilities with emergency response experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
