Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs on complex electrical systems during the night shift.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations and modifications.
- Ensure all work strictly adheres to local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and report any potential hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handover of operational status.
- Maintain accurate logs of all electrical work performed and materials consumed.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required for the State of California.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and safely during night shifts.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various physical conditions.
