Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial & industrial settings
- Perform emergency repairs during night shift hours with minimal disruption
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for complex electrical projects
- Ensure all work complies with NEC and Pennsylvania state electrical codes
- Collaborate with project managers on after-hours installations and upgrades
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Minimum 3 years commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proven ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures
- Experience with PLC systems, VFDs, and industrial automation
- Reliable transportation and ability to work overnight hours (6 PM - 6 AM)
- Physical ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift 50+ lbs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
