Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency electrical maintenance and repairs on commercial and industrial systems.
- Inspect electrical panels, transformers, and wiring to ensure compliance with DC Code and National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot lighting systems, power distribution, and HVAC controls.
- Respond to after-hours work orders and emergency calls with a focus on rapid, safe resolution.
- Ensure all night shift security protocols and safety procedures are strictly followed.
- Document all work performed, including time logs and maintenance reports.
- Collaborate with day-shift staff to ensure seamless transition of facility operations.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of DC electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to work nights (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and rotating shifts as required.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
