Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine wiring layouts and installation requirements
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions during night shifts
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes (NEC, California Title 24)
- Collaborate with contractors and team members on complex electrical projects
- Manage inventory and order necessary electrical components and materials
- Document work activities and maintain accurate project records
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical experience with night shift preference
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License required
- OSHA 10-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Proficiency in reading schematics and using diagnostic tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in physically demanding environments
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and overtime as needed
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
