Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical systems in commercial/industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation with precision
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local electrical codes
- Perform emergency repairs during critical operational hours
- Conduct systematic diagnostics using advanced testing equipment
- Lead small crews on large-scale installation and retrofit projects
- Maintain detailed work documentation and safety records
Qualifications
- Valid Texas electrician license (Journeyman or Master required)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial experience
- Proven expertise with PLC systems, VFDs, and 3-phase power
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined spaces
- Strong diagnostic skills with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability for night shifts
