Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and control panels
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure strict compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety regulations
- Perform diagnostic testing and repairs on high-voltage systems
- Collaborate with construction teams to meet project deadlines
- Document work orders and maintain accurate maintenance logs
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (TN or VA)
- Minimum 4 years of commercial electrical experience
- Proven expertise in industrial and commercial wiring systems
- Advanced knowledge of PLC controls and automation systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Ability to work independently in physically demanding environments
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical troubleshooting
