Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications for complex projects
- Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and California electrical safety standards
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with project managers and team members to meet tight deadlines
- Perform system upgrades and retrofits for energy efficiency improvements
- Document work activities and maintain accurate service records
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- Minimum 3 years commercial/industrial electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, wiring, and power distribution systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local regulations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmental conditions
