Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in commercial and industrial facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation to ensure precise installations
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and resolve complex electrical malfunctions efficiently
- Adhere to strict safety protocols including NFPA 70E standards and lockout/tagout procedures
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to meet critical deadlines
- Conduct system inspections and ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes
- Manage material inventory and coordinate equipment procurement for assigned projects
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial/industrial electrical work
- Proven expertise with PLC systems, VFDs, and motor controls
- Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and local electrical regulations
- Ability to work independently in low-light environments with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina for climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting 50+ lbs
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Clean driving record and valid Texas driver's license
