Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on complex electrical networks
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local safety regulations
- Document project progress and maintain accurate work records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during system upgrades
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience with night shift preference
- Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent reciprocity)
- Proficiency in conduit bending, power distribution, and control systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for troubleshooting complex electrical faults
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CPR/First Aid training
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
- Experience with industrial automation systems a plus
