Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to execute precise electrical layouts
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic testing on complex electrical circuits
- Ensure strict adherence to NEC codes and OSHA safety regulations
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials for project efficiency
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
- Document work completion with detailed reports and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial electrical experience with night shift preference
- Valid Texas Electrician Journeyman license (required)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency in conduit bending, motor control, and VFD systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for resolving complex electrical issues
- Ability to work independently in minimal supervision environments
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
