Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial/residential/industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Supervise apprentices and coordinate project timelines
- Document work orders, maintenance logs, and safety reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years of verified electrical experience with valid Journeyman license
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Expertise in conduit bending, circuit design, and load calculations
- Strong knowledge of NEC updates and Tampa-area electrical codes
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces/extreme conditions
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience with VFD systems and energy-efficient installations
