The Role
As a Night Shift Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our electrical systems during the evening hours. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining safety standards and providing high-quality service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems, motors, and control circuits.
- Execute the installation, maintenance, and modification of electrical infrastructure, including lighting and power distribution.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.
- Document all work performed, including material usage and time logs, for payroll and compliance.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure continuity of operations and handover of critical systems.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the State of Texas is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during night shifts.
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Current Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
